The Initiativkreis ALBERT-EINSTEIN-HAUS CAPUTH e. V.<\/strong> seeks to preserve the intellectual heritage of the Nobel prize winner Albert Einstein<\/strong> (1879-1955) and the des architect of his summer house<\/strong> in Caputh Konrad Wachsmann<\/strong> (1901-1980).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 1905 Albert Einstein published the special Theory of Relativity which revolutionized our concept of space and time; E=mc\u00b2 became the most famous equation in physics. On the occasion of the 100th<\/sup> anniversary of Einstein\u2019s \u201cMiracle Year\u201d the UNESCO declared the year 2005 \u201cWorld Year of Physics\u201d. As part of this celebration big, red constructions in the shape of the letter \u201cE\u201d were erected at locations referring to Einstein\u2019s life and work. One of those served as a sign to Einstein\u2019s summer house designed by Konrad Wachsmann.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
